This ambition has become concrete thanks to the entrepreneurial activity of Ker ezhi family, expert in marketing and in renovation, who combining its experience with the passion for handcrafted products, has re launched worldwide the prestige of Ker ezhi hand crafted production.
Meet The Founder
As a New business based in Addis Ababa but well known worldwide, a lot of people are curious to know the backstory of how Ker Ezhi Ethiopia Leather manufacturing came to be. When I introduce myself as a business owner, I'm often asked the question, "how did you decided to engage in the lether industry?" says Mr.Zelalem Merawi-the founder and G.M of Ker Ezhi Ethiopia Leather Manufacturing "Even people who purchase our products want to know more about where the idea came from and why we decided to create our own product line in this way.
So I've decided to create this space on our website to share my story. It's a deeply personal one that required me to change my way of life, my way of looking at the world around me and even the way I was able to provide for my family. I really believe it's an amazing story and I hope others will be inspired by what you can accomplish when you really set your mind to a vision. As a graduate in Tour Operation, I spent more fifteen years in tour ,travel,car rental,advertising and sales, working with the public to promote products and achieve higher sales numbers each year.
My first company I established was,Zelalem Tour,Travel and Car Rental.I have excellent reputation in the travel industry with hundreds of thousands happy clients from around the world.Through my years of experience, I understood our visitors have a bad experience to find out quality leather products when they went out for shopping.This clicks my mind and ask my self,Ethiopia is number one in cattle population and has the best quality sheep skin in the world,but why is our products less quality than others.Putting this in mind, I started researching the leather industry and tried to find out the limitations in the business for years and decided to engage with passion and integrity.
